A native of Atlanta, GA and a 20 year veteran of the United States Navy, Dr. Veal he has over 25 years of ministerial experience. He currently holds an Honorary Doctoral Degree in Philosophy from Higher Place Christian University, a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Luther Rice University and Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion from Wayland Baptist University.
Prior to becoming the Senior Pastor and Shephard at Glory of God Christian Ministries, Dr. Veal established churches in Puerto Rico, Japan and Hawaii while serving in the military. Currently the Senior Pastor at Glory of God Christian Ministries (GOGCM) located in Decatur GA, he conducts regularly scheduled Wednesday Night Corporate Prayer and Bible Study and Sunday morning Corporate Prayer, Worship Service and Sunday School for both adults and children. He also provides pre-marital counseling, outreach ministry to seniors and those in need, hospice and bereavement support and training, and he continues to maintain a presences in Decatur and the surrounding areas through his Outreach, Brotherhood, Young Adults and Youth Ministries.
Along with his many other pastoral passions, Dr. Veal has a great compassion for the homeless and the community, and has over the course of 17 years worked diligently with his ministry to provide a nourishing meal to over 31,300 homeless and under privileged adults and children, over 1,110 book bags and school supplies to community children, over 8,000 articles of clothing and shoes to those in need.
As part of his pastoral teaching, he diligently teaches how the world today, the environment in which our society freely accepts, impacts our spiritual man and our walk with God.
